Thank you for taking the time to visit my first official web page. I am finding out this web page creation is taking ALOT of time. I have tried to learn how to use HTML with no success (YET) but am working on it. I have puts an extreme amount of love and work into my pages and I think you will be pleased with the work i have done so far. I am originally from Illinois, but have also lived in Wisconsin, Maine, and have finally laid down my roots here in the Lone Star State. I really miss the Midwest, but get back there as often as I can to visit family & friends. I am now a mother and housewife who traded in her stethoscope (was an RN and Veterinary Technician) to be home with the family. I have a typical teenage daughter who displays the typical attitude that goes with it, but I do love her anyway. I have decided long ago that I was just going to lose my sanity, and that is all there was too it. So far I have succeeded at my goal !!!!! My husband is from Pennsylvania....funny how we both moved to Texas to meet each other. I adore cats.....I have 8 too many, but luckily they all get along, though some better than others. My home is done in cat fur motif. I have come to accept that....lol..... I love to read anything from medical thrillers, to mysteries, to romances. Yes, once in awhile I like the "calgon-take-me-away" stuff that my brain doesn't have to work hard at figuring out the plot. On Nov. 21st 2007 I am having my RNY gastric bypass surgery. I am very much interested in connecting with others going through the same thing soon or are already post-op patients. I enjoy doing yardwork (yes, you read that correctly), though I do not enjoy it as much when the temps are in the 100's and humidity is high. I love to cook and bake, but now that my lifestyle has changed drastically over the past year, I dont bake cookies and stuff like that like I used to....and I think my family misses it ..... but you gotta do what you gotta do. So sit back and enjoy perusing my site. If I have linked anything incorrectly, be assured it wasnt intentional and feel free to notify me and I will make the changes.
